Dr DeJong was very professional and experienced. He was honest about the condition of my tooth and led me in the right direction.

I went to the sun city location which is now closed in 2018 for a tunneling root canal on number 30 of my tooth. this is a CAUTIONARY tale and warning for anyone wanting to get a root canal with this company. I now have nerve damage, reoccurring tooth infections, and have to get this same tooth that was worked on removed due to them leaving a dental file INSIDE of my tooth. My family and I were never informed of the file breaking off into my tooth and resin was slapped onto the tooth and we were told to come back for a crown. I was due to get another root canal at a different dentist however upon getting an xray, my new dentist stated they would be unable to perform the procedure due to the file blocking the area. the file had broken off in three places inside of my tooth, they told me my tooth was extremely hollow and that whoever did the procedure did not do it properly. That tooth has gone into necrosis and I will have to remove the tooth as soon as possible to avoid damage to the teeth surrounding the problem tooth. There’s no amount of brushing, flossing, etc that could have kept this from happening. They left a foreign body in my tooth and failed to inform me and due to their mistake, I have suffered crippling pain, migraines, infections, multiple hospital visits due to the tooth, and now I will have to lose my tooth. PLEASE stay away from these people and put your money somewhere else and save yourself the mental and physical damage

Dr DeJongh and his assistant were great! He handled a complicated root canal with ease. I felt no pain. He communicated what he was doing throughout the procedure. I definitely would recommend this practice. The office staff were friendly as well. 🙌
