Important Information Regarding COVID-19
Your safety and well-being are of utmost importance to Manatee Endodontics. As our country and the world continue to deal with the effects of COVID-19, we want to inform you about the Florida Governor and American Dental Association’s (ADA) newest guidelines and recommendations regarding dental care.
As per the Governor’s Executive Order, 20-72, dentists are prohibited from providing non-urgent dental care until at least May 8, 2020. We intend to comply with the Order while remaining available to any patient who seeks emergency care. We will only be seeing patients who are in need of urgent or emergency care. If you or your patients are in pain and need care immediately, call 941-792-4166. We are working to provide our community with safe treatment options.
In addition to following the guidance from the CDC, Manatee Endodontics has updated our sanitation policies to prevent the spread of the virus. We are disinfecting our offices’ common areas like patient waiting rooms and check-in desks more frequently and limiting interpersonal interactions (social distancing). For scheduled patients that are feeling ill or have been in contact with someone that has tested positive for the virus, their appointment will be rescheduled 14 days later.
We are here to support you and will play our part to fight the spread of coronavirus. If you need more support or clarification, please call our office.
Symptoms of coronavirus are reported as flu-like, with varying degrees of severity. While we do not know everything about this virus to date, individuals who are elderly and/or immunocompromised appear to be the most at risk of a severe infection. To ensure your health and safety, and the health and safety of everyone at our practice, please reschedule your appointment if you or a member of your household has a cough, fever, and/or flu-like symptoms. In addition, please reschedule your appointment if you have traveled to any areas within the past 14 days that are at high risk for contracting the coronavirus.
We thank you in advance and extend our gratitude for your understanding and cooperation. Together, we can help keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office, and one of our staff members will be more than happy to assist you.
