Dr. Joseph L. DeJongh

Dr Joseph L. DeJongh graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree, cum laude, in 2005 from the University of Florida. He was selected as a Hinman Scholar in 2004,was awarded  American Association of Endodontics Student Achievement Award and induction into the dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. DeJongh then enrolled in a one-year fellowship in Craniofacial Pain and Temporomandibular Joint Disorders under the tutelage of Dr. Henry Gremillion at the Parker E. Mahan Facial Pain Center a the University of Florida.  Finally, he completed his endodontic training at Florida, earning an M.S. in Oral Biology and Certificate in Endodontics in 2008. Dr. Joseph DeJongh is the youngest of Dr. Carl DeJongh's four sons and is excited about returning to Bradenton with his wife, Angela, and son to carry on the legacy of Manatee Endodontics.


Dr. L. Carl DeJongh



Dr. Carl DeJongh was raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  He earned his B.S. degree from Calvin College, a D.D.S. degree at the University of Michigan and his M.S. degree in Endodontics at the University of Michigan.  He served as a dentist in the United States Navy and was a clinical instructor in Endodontics at the University of  Michigan. He has practiced Endodontics in Bradenton since 1975 and is past president of the Manatee County Dental Society.  He is a courtesy Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He has four sons and is an active member of the Bradenton community.
